THE KIWANIS ROSE FLOAT CLUB 1ST ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC!

"I'm Joel Carlson and as of October 1st, 2025 I was installed as President of the prestigious KIWANIS ROSE FLOAT CLUB. That's right, the folks behind the annual Kiwanis Rose Float that over 60 Million people see every New Year's Day on television worldwide during the Annual Tournament of Roses Parade. We organize 4,000-5,000 people to decorate more then 10 floats for the Annual Tournament of Roses Parade! That's over 36,000 service hours each and every year. This includes all K-Family Members and many volunteers from all over. That also means it costs money.

I'm excited to announce that on March 5-6 of 2026, we are hosting the KIWANIS ROSE FLOAT CLUB 1ST ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC and PAIRINGS PARTY at Brookside At The Rose Bowl Golf Course, to raise funds to continue to provide the vital manpower needed for the float building experience as one organization and one community.

So, mark it on your calendar to join us and keep an eye out for the information to become a Corporate Sponsor so that we can ensure that the Rose Float tradition continues to blossom for generations to come.

THIS YEAR'S BENEFACTOR

The Kiwanis Rose Float Club Project is about much more than the parade. As one of the largest community service projects in all of Kiwanis International, the project coordinates over 36,000 volunteer hours from thousands of people, most of whom are high school and college students from Southern California, but some of whom come from across the country to participate in this memorable and rewarding experience. Kiwanians—and our friends, family, and youth service leadership programs—contribute to as many as 1/3 of all the floats that appear in the parade each year.
